Merle Schimanke joined the team of JUSTEM Rechtsanwälte in October 2021. She advises clients in the field of individual and collective employment law.
Before joining JUSTEM Rechtsanwälte she worked in a renowned employment law firm for one and a half years.

Merle Schimanke’s advice comprises both the individual and the collective part of labor law advice for employers.
The main focus of her activity lies in the following areas:
- Advising in matters in connection with works constitution law, in particular the negotiation and drafting of works agreements
- Legal representation of employers in and out of court in disputes with employees and works councils
- Employment law advice on restructurings
BIOGRAPHY
Merle Schimanke studied law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen. Subsequently she completed her legal internship at the Higher Regional Court in Celle. During this time Merle Schimanke already gained experience in employment law at two law firms in Hamburg. After completing her legal internship, she started as an attorney in employment law in March 2020 at Schweibert Lessmann & Partner in Frankfurt am Main.
Merle Schimanke speaks German and English.
